I Speak English, I learn it from a book



This funny episode from Fawlty Towers, a British sitcom made by the BBC and first broadcast on BBC2 in 1975, made forever popular the expression "I Speak English, I learn it from a book". Nowadays we have at our disposal an immense variety of ways to learn and improve our proficiency in English. To make our lessons more appealing, I decided to create a blog where you can (I dare say should... or even must) leave your comments, make suggestions and, of course raise your questions.

I've learn english by translating songs to portuguese, and watching movies with subtitles in portuguese and then english and acting. much more fun than learn from a book ;)
